set a pdf as primary media

I have uploaded images to a number of objects, but then uploaded a pdf in each as well.
But now I want the pdf to be the primary media in the object. I saw in a previous discussion that the needed refinery parameters for this require "isPrimary to be 1".
Mine are : Refinery parameters

The mapper in the screenshot does not appear to work either with merge_on_idno or with merge_on_idno_with_replace
(shortly, it's like I want to add just the Primary feature in the pdfs -- but are so many that I can not do it manually in each one, that's why I need the mapper).

What should I do to make this work ??

also have tried with "isPrimary":"1"/1 and does not work as well.

PVasileiou ‘is_primary’ is an interstitial value between the object and representation.

Thanks for the reply, but should this be used with a specific refinery ? I have tried objectRepresentationSplitter and interstitial , neither of them works (I want merge_on_idno ultimately , to keep the photos with the pdf as well & ca version is 1.8).

PVasileiou should just be the objectRepresentationSplitter.

You could try is_primary without the interstitial. It might work. I’ve never mapped representations to be primary or not, so I’m unsure. I only know by looking at the model, that the is_primary sits in the relationship table, not the representation table.

PVasileiou I’ve just done a quick dive into the code and there is an isPrimary setting for objectRepresentaionSplitter, like in your original post. When you try and run this with logging turned up, what does the logs say about matching the representation?

Ultimately changed it from my database, the settings never worked.
And the thing is I never got any errors when trying the mapping.
