Hey All!
Has anyone been able to display search results that include fields from multiple different tables at once, for easy viewing? It could be read-only and and separate from the default way to view objects, if needed.

The goal would be for catalogers to be able to look at a single screen and see information about not only the CA_Objects themselves but other information about its related entities, intellectual content, places, etc (admin-customizable). Of course, catalogers can now click back and forth between the different tabs to see this information, but I have heard from other users that having to have 4+ tabs open at once to look into one object can be tedious, and we've imagined a customized display showing results from various tables (ca_objects, ca_occurrences, etc) as you forward through each search result. Thoughts?

Try doing a search in the search box in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

seth Thank you! After your response I did more work on adding elements to screens to get my desired result but I'm still having an issue getting all the media information I want on one screen.

While I can add relationships and metadata fields easily enough, I haven't been able to have information from multiple primary tables in one screen, aside from related elements like related occurrences, related entities, related objects, etc. An example is that users want to be able to view the related media representation of an object from an intellectual content related to that object. This would speed up access so that, rather than searching IC -> clicking related object -> clicking media (4 clicks), they can instead select IC -> play primary media representation of the related objects (1 click). There's probably other cases where I'd want a singular screen that can show information from multiple primary tables, but I am unsure how much CA supports this.

My apologies if my question is too niche or obvious.

You will want to use the Display Templates to do this. In your related objects bundle on the Intellectual content record, you will want something like ^ca_object_representations.media to show the representations. Or if you want to link to the rep, then you will need to use a <unit> tag to traverse into the representation (from the object) and surround your content with a <l> </l> for the link.
To bring lots of interconnected data together, you could use a summary screen with a custom display template. Otherwise use the display templates to configure the search results returned. A few options, really depends on the exact use case here.
