I am trying to represent the hierarchical fieldwork structure (e.g., fund-fieldwork-session-unit-work-mtr) in Providence as 'occurrences.'
When I create the hierarchical structure, a 5-level submenu appears in the 'New' menu. It's a bit awkward because the most frequently used level is the 5th, the 'work' level.
Is there an option to disable submenus for all hierarchical levels, not just the first one?
I also tried creating the entire structure at the same hierarchical level and connecting structure elements using the 'occurrence-occurrence' relationship, but I encountered problems with sorting menu items, which are always sorted alphabetically. However, I need to follow the structure ("fund" at the top and "mtr" at the bottom).
What is the best solution in this case to make the user interface a bit easier? I’ll attach the pictures that show what I have and what I want.
