Relationships missing

Not sure if I can help with the missing relationships without access to the data. But as for the setup.php settings. If you needed them in your old setup, you will mostly likely need them in your new one, so I suggest you put them in.

monica Thank you for your help!
I have added the part I mentioned to my setup.php and could run caUtils command to rebuild index.
I still have not idea for the issue of missing relationships. When I clicked a object summary, I could see the related entities, but I couldn't find it in relationship tab. I have already rebuild the hierarchy but the relationships still missing.
I will tried to rebuild index and see if the relationships could be loaded.

If it's showing in the summary screen, then it must be in the data, so I don't believe that reindexing will help with this particular issue. Check your Object User Interface and the related entities bundle on the relationship screen(tab). Ensure the right Relationship Types and other settings are correct there. If the wrong relationships types are selected, then it wont show anything.

monica Yes. I have rebuilt the index but still could not find the relationships.
I've checked my Object User Interface and its settings is the same as my old providence. All relationships bundle could be found in the Object UI.
It seems that the relationships between tables could not be shown in new providence.

But I have another problem on my new providence, I can't save my edits, e.g. UI editor, MyDisplay and my records.
How can I fix it?

If the relationships are showing on the summary screen, then they must be in there. Have you checked on the record on the other side of the relationships, such as the entity record?
As for not being able to save your edits, we'll need more information on how you can't. Is there an error message?

monica I have checked the tables, I could find the record on the other side of the relationships.
Let me provide more details. For Object records, if it has a related entity, I could find the entity on summary page with linkage. But when I clicked on it, the page did not turn to entity record.
Also, when I browsed Objects, I could filter the records by collections, entities and events.
In each table’s editor UI, I could see the bundle name but couldn’t find the relationships records.
Is there any .conf file relate to this issue?

For the issue of not being able to save my edits, there isn’t any error message.
I have checked the access control settings, my account is administrator, the access right is the same as my past setting. But I could not add new user or edit rights.
I have also checked app.conf and couldn’t find anything related to this matter.
May I know if this issue relates to MySQL access? I have checked the setup file and MySQL account’s right and have no idea on this.
I will check other .conf files to see if there is anything related to this matter.

Strange that there is no error if it's doing what you say. You can check that the MySQL user you have set up had full permissions to the database.

monica I would like to update my test result.
Please find my adjustments below:
(1) Reinstalled MySQL 8 on new server, re-exported my data by MySQL Workbench 6.3 in old server and reimported MySQL backup to new server by MySQL Workbench 8.0. Run update-database-schema command for updates, but I still needed to run the scripts in #157 and #158 manually.
(2) Reset Apache 24 folder properties to grant Apache running account with read and execute, list folder contents and read access to the whole Apache2.4 directory.

After reinstallation, for the issue of relationship missing, I could find relationships in all tables’ relationship editor UIs from my desktop PC (Chrome) browser when accessing my providence on server. But this could not be done by browsers (Edge or Chrome) on server that no relationships could be found in editor UI.

For the issue of not being able to save my edits, when I click save for a CA record on my desktop PC when accessing my providence on server, there was an error: “CSRF token is not valid”. I can’t save my edits.
I have tried this on server but there is no error, and the record could not be saved.

How could I fix them? Many thanks.

Run caUtils clear-caches this should fix the CSRF token issue, and maybe even the relationships not showing.

monica I have cleared the caches but still got the error message “CSRF token is not valid”.

It might be time to get someone else in to look at this on the server. If the caches were cleared correctly there shouldn't be anything left to throw this error.

I don't have much experience with CA version 1.7 and I have never even tried making it work on a windows server.

monica Do you think Apache running account's access right on Apache2.4 directory would be a matter that affect the write permission on providence that cause I couldn't save my edits?

Since I have changed my security settings on Apache directory by granting the read/write permission to CA running account. But some sub-folders still could not be amended by this account.

When I used your command to clear caches using this account to open command prompt, I've got two errors:
Skipping clearing of application cache because it is not writable
Skipping clearing of user media cache because it is not writable

But when I use administrator account, I could clear the cache.

For the setup of Apache, I couldn't find the tab of security when I right click Apache properties on task manager. But I could find it and reset the it directly on the Apache directory folder today. Since the providence folder has already been put in Apache directory. Will this affect the access right of my running account?
