print Avery labels

Hi, The Cataloging manual (v2 p.11) mentions a label formats configuration file for creating own label formats. Where is this file located? ... and is it also the file specifying the available Avery type numbers? Currently my installed system will produce a labels PDF if I select GVSU or Avery 8126,8164, but if I select Avery 15163 or 8167, I get a "file not found" and no PDF is produced. thanks

Well, I can cancel the first part of my question as I just found the "Printable Labels" page in the wiki! It gives the relevant file names and I have located them. I will attempt to figure out why only some of the drop-down label options are working. Evidently also I will need to customize the page dimensions as we use the European A4 system. thanks

After removing sections of the subFormLayout, I isolated the problem to production of barcode ... then installed php-gd and the problem disappeared. I will submit a suggestion in bug tracker that the Configuration Check screen should indicate php-gd is needed for barcode printing, even if Imagick is present! (at least that's the conclusion I arrived at). thanks

Ah, yeah. We are using the PEAR barcode module to generate the codes, which requires GD. We will add some indication in the config check - great suggestion! (Thanks for the other bug tracker reports as well)

We should also add a note on the wiki about the GD dependency as well.
