Can't add objects without representations to sets

We're unable to add objects to a set when they do not have representations (images) already associated with them. We can select objects without representations to add to a set, or create a new set from search results, but they disappear from the set when the set is saved. This behaviour didn't happen before, but I can't track down a configuration change that might have triggered this. Any suggestions?

monica No, not recently... I upgraded to dev/2.0 in September to get around a bug that was affecting imports (see https://support.collectiveaccess.org/d/302160-process-indexing-queue-failure/3) but have not upgraded CollectiveAccess since then. It's possible that there is a silent failure related to Gmagick or one of the other binary plugins that might have upgraded at the OS level.

This is what I see in the warning log when attempting to add an item to a set:

monica As I was preparing a bug report I discovered a fix for this issue in commit 3668454, it looks like there just wasn't an associated issue listed on GitHub. If anyone else is having this issue, upgrading to the latest codebase seems to resolve the problem!
