Importing multiple images to same record

I am having a problem importing multiple images to the same record. I can import multiple images using Import Media, creating new records for each but so far I have not been able to import more than one image to a record. For example we typically scan both sides of a photo. I would want both images in the same record. I can do this from the editor but not from Import Media. I have tried various setting with the advanced options matching but I either get a new record or no match. I must be missing something.

I figured it out. I found the import media configuration in app.conf.
