Export mapping template

Hi !
I need some help running an export on my database. I can't find the export mapping template, and I'm not able to download it from the documentation (https://docs.collectiveaccess.org/providence/user/export/mappings). Could someone point me to where I can find it or explain how to create one?
I also know that it's possible to create an export from a display, but I've created several containers and I can't add them to a display. Do you know how this can be done?

Hello, sorry I'm not sure if I should ask here but I want to export a entity search result with the export tools button and the export is done but only have two fields, id and label, how can I add more fields? with export mapping? if so can you share the template? seems that I don't have permission. Thanks in advance!!

djrbeen not quite the same topic as here. You will need to either 1) add more fields to your search result display template, or if you don’t have a display already (most likely with only idno and title), then 2) create a new display for entities with the fields you want, making sure that display is ticked for use in search results

Hello (again),

Another question about exporting.

In our database, ‘Acquisition’ records are created in an Entity that is linked to Objects from the object record page.
I need to search for data (the acquisition mode) that is in the acquisition record when I export an object.

I understand that I need to use ‘context’, but as I am not a computer scientist (I manage the database because I can get by, but that's it), I can't figure out what to do next.
I don't see how to tell the export that it should search for the ‘ca_entities.acqu_type’ information in the “Acquisition” entity according to the entity cited in ‘ca_objects.obj_adm.obj_adm_acq’.

Perhaps some images will help you understand my problem, but I'm here for more information.

paulm due to the design of your database, you can’t do what you want.
You only have a reference to an entity in that container, not a relationship to it, so you can’t change context to search through it.
If you add a related entities bundle to your UI, limit it to only acquisitions, then add the acquisition record again, then it’s possible.

It’s also different that you used an entity for acquisitions, usually lots are used for this function.

Oh, thank you, I see! I will try to rethink the infrastructure of the database to make it more logical.
