Location In Hierarchy "Move" is Broken

I've been posting messages on the Issues page without response. The "Location In Hierarchy" control doesn't work after clicking the Move tab. I'm unable to move Objects, unable to move Places, and the only workaround is to manually duplicate the existing entries.

Is there a patch for this I'm missing or is it known to be broken in the newer versions?

robc this isn’t a known problem as far as I know.

Works fine for me on all test systems I've tried. All are running dev/2.0 at the moment though. What version are you running exactly?

I'm on the master branch.

I also ran composer update under PHP 8.3.

So the behavior on the master branch is that I can select a new location from the Move tab, but when I save the record there are no changes.

Is it safe to switch to the dev branch, and would you like me to test that as well?

I performed my full backup and switched to branch dev/2.0 this morning. I've confirmed this does resolve the problem, and the master branch is the problem.
