Having just installed Collective Access, I am coming up with this error:

No user interface is available for this editor in /home4/stevemiy/collectiveaccess.stevemiyamoto.com/app/lib/Controller/AppController.php line 116:

In AppController->dispatch() in index line 137

Any thoughts on where to start to resolve this?

spmiyamoto Where are you coming up with this error? As soon as you log in or when you try and create a record? A bit more information please.

spmiyamoto What install profile did you use?
When you go to 'Manage > Administration > User Interfaces' does anything come up when you search for 'storage locations'?

Not sure about the install profile. I have uploaded Providence 2.0.9 to my host server. Followed the instructions to modify the setup.php-dist file with my database information. I then ran the install as the instructions said to do. Here is a screenshot for the user interfaces.

spmiyamoto There are only 3 editors in that list? Something very wrong with your install. Don't think all of your assets are loading either, there shouldn't be underlines in that menu.

Will need to know which profile you selected when you installed (it gives you a list to pick from)

Thanks. Is there a way to find which profile I selected, or should I delete everything and start over?

spmiyamoto I would suggest doing a new install and take notice of the profile you are using. Also take notice of any errors you get.

I think I used the first option DACS/EAD

spmiyamoto that profile is only a partial one, which is why it’s not created much. If you want a DACS compatible install for archival collection, then use the straight up Dacs profile.

OK, that would explain it. I have deleted the original install and am trying to install the Standard Dublin 2018 profile. I attended a workshop a few years ago, and I remember it was recommended at the time.

I am now getting a 503 error every time I run the installer. I have set line 275 in the setup.php file to TRUE so that I can overwrite the previous install. Any thoughts on what's going on here? I have done this several times and get the same result.

spmiyamoto what type of hosting are you using? That usually happens when your server doesn’t have enough resources.
You could try running the installer directly in command line instead to bypass the web server.

I am using Bluehost. I was able to load the previous DACS/EAD partial with no issues. Weird. Would Dublin Core require more resources?

OK, it turns out that I only have WordPress hosting with Bluehost. What size VPS would be recommended?

spmiyamoto you’ll want something with a minimum of 4gb of RAM and 2vCPU. The storage depends on the number of records and media you plan to have.

OK. I now have a VPS in place and have started to do the setup. Providence is loaded, and the setup.php file has been edited. When I got to run the install program, I was shown the Install folder where the index.php file is. The install program does not run. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Let me know if more information is needed.

spmiyamoto I suggest you start a new thread, as the subject of this thread has been solved.
You need to share any error messages you are getting, screenshots, which install instructions you are following etc. all information you can give.
