Why would that happen? (CA 2.0.3)
Truncation happens to text attributes of objects that are imported from xls files. But only to objects. For example all of about 750 object abstracts are truncated. However all the collection abstracts survive.
The mapping directive for abstracts found in column 11 of the .xls input file is simply:
Mapping | 11 | ca_objects.abstract |
I did check my database and the truncated abstracts are in the ca_attribute_values table, so it's not a rendering problem.
A related issue is that if I try to edit an object's abstract in the object editor page, clicking 'save' deletes all the text I addded as well as the lonely single character that was imported.
The import log in debug mode looked OK. But log_warning_log.txt had this permissions issue repeated a few times during the period the importer was running. Is that relevant? SElinux is set to permissive enforcement.
