Deleting object with object representation

Hi everyone,

I've noticed some inconsistent behavior when deleting objects that have related media. When I delete an object with a connected TIFF media file, the related object representation also gets deleted. However, when I delete an object with a connected PDF file, the related representation remains intact.

Is this intended behavior, or could it be a bug? Does it serve a specific purpose that I'm not aware of?

This needs to be double checked, but I thought unless you have it set that representations can be related to multiple records, then when a record it’s attached to is deleted, the representation is deleted also. However, the media and data in the database remain until a purge is performed.
