Hi I have two questions as follows (I have tried finding solutions in the forums)

I have a number of pre-defined entities such as accessioner, digitiser etc but when I try to add a new record and in the Field (Digitise Add Related Entity) and type in the name of that pre-defined entity it always says "Doesn't Exist Create?" I am sure that once upon a time the name used to show up - does not seem to find existing entities, what has gone wrong???
When viewing or exporting records in excel format it shows the hierarchical entries for Object Type as
Category->SubCategroy-> Primary Name->Secondary Name etc. but for hierarchical storage locations it just shows the lowest level e.g Cabinet F5(). Is this standard behavior or can it be set to show the whole Storage Location Hierarchy

For #1 it sounds like your search index is out of date or otherwise broken. If you search entity records directly for the same (Eg. in the entity basic search) do you get expected results?

For #2 you'll need to adjust whatever display you're using when you do the Excel export such that the storage location column uses this template: ^ca_storage_locations.hierarchy.preferred_labels.name%delimiter=_→_

Hi Seth,
Thank you for your prompt reply. The first was my mistake in that I assumed if you entered an entity's name and details in the Access Control section they would be stored as 'entities'. This does not seem to be the case. Adding those with Access capabilities as individuals under Add Entity as well they now show up in the drop down when editing Accessioner, Digitiser etc., fields.
For the Storage Location Hierarchical display after I ticked the Show Hierarchy box and set the length everything appears ok . My oversight.
