Importing a object representation identifer

Hello, I am importing media through the batch import media option and I am trying to figure out how to configure the object representation identifier. I want the object representation for the imported images to be the same as their filename without the extension. I see in ‘Advanced Options’ that there is an option under ‘Object Representation Identifier’ to do this, however, no matter what option chosen the representation identifier still sets itself to “%”.

Must the object representation identifier be set using multipart ID? If such, is there a way to use the media file name as a part of the ID?

The bulk media import option of setting the identifiers for both object and object representations had always worked for me.
Are you setting it for both object and representation? You might only be doing it for representation, where you are wanting it for object.
Do you have multipart ID set up for either objects or representations (apart from just the single free block)?

I am setting the identifier for both the object and the representation in the bulk media importer. I set up a multipart ID system for only the objects, not the representations as I was just going to use the option in the media import settings.

Are the filenames non-ordinary? in app.conf there are filename regexs for each of the rules to get the filename. Make sure that the filenames you are importing are compatible with these settings. I've never seemed to have an issue with the default in the past.

The filename regexs in app.conf looks to be correct and are creating the linked object representations. For some reason none of the 4 'Object representation identifier' in the batch import media seem to work, all give a "%".
