Installation help on ubuntu server

Hello everyone, I went through the install procedure for CA on my ubuntu server. When I go on my windows PC and put in my IP/ca I get the following error message

Something went wrong
Your PHP installation lacks MySQL support. Please add it and retry... in /var/www/html/ca/app/lib/Db/mysqli.php line 132:
In Db_mysqli->connect() in Db line 134
At Db->connect() in Db line 108
At Db->__construct() in index line 42

I am a total NOOB with linux/ubuntu and have exhausted my resources trying to fix this. Can anyone let me know what I have to do to get this program up and running?

I ran this

apt-get install php7.4-common php7.4-mysql

Now I get the following error

Access denied for user 'MYNAME'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /var/www/html/ca/app/lib/Db/mysqli.php line 139:
In Db_mysqli->connect() in Db line 134
At Db->connect() in Db line 108
At Db->__construct() in index line 42

I assume this is progress
