Creating data report.

I am having difficulty compiling a report that includes object and occurrence data. For instance, I need to incorporate information in the same Excel report about the artwork, such as title and measurements, as well as details about the entity, such as date of birth, death, and nationality, in addition to the insurance data of the work from the insurance procedure (insured value), and the valuation data of the work from the valuation procedure (value of the work).

Can someone share their experience with me?

Create a display for search results with the fields you want. For Related records look at the <unit> syntax to call field relative to another record. https://manual.collectiveaccess.org/providence/user/reporting/template_unit.html

Hi Monica. Using the <unit> command I was able to incorporate entity and occurrence metadata into object reports. But the code to sort the results or limit it to only bring the last record is not working (Is very important for the project that this query works well).. I tried several lines but had no success with any of them. I copy the code for your reference, can you help me identify where is the error?

limit is not an attribute of unit. you'll need start='0' and length='1' to limit to only the first record.

I'm not sure how much luck you'll have sorting by the value of a container. What data type is the valuation amount?

Thank you very much for your response. I'm going to try limiting the results. The the valuation amount is a Numeric data type.
