Hi there looking to see if either someone has done the work on this type of profile or can point me in the direction of a wiki page that I have not been able to find.
My team is trying to establish a MADS/MODS/PREMIS/DACS collaboration into CA. Right now I am focusing on the MADS and MODS implementation. In either case it was derived from an XML schema that defines what fields are to be included and the various attributes. I was able to get the fields into the profile but do not see an option to add the attributes.
The ideal would be the end user to see a collection of sections that they can expand when they need to view the contents of them. Hitting a checkbox to "enable" it to be used, and then adding the values into the fields. Most have have a certain subset of attributes that I would like to have a predetermined value but allowing them to edit it if they need to change it for whatever reason. I am thinking of a "show more" option where one can expand it on a item by item level to not have it clutter up what is being shown.
I took a look at the pre-existing profiles and do not see any examples of this take shape. I tried to play around with the UI elements to see if I could do this on a single value and came up short. Anyone know of something that I can use as a starting point to see how this would be structured so that I could build this out?
