caUtils purge-deleted

Hi,
When we use caUtils purge-deleted, is there a way to list the records that will be deleted before typing "y"?😅

Are you sure you want to PERMANENTLY remove all deleted records? This cannot be undone.

Because even if it is prudent to make a backup of the database before playing with this script, I would prefer to be able to verify what the script will execute.😁
In a future version of this script, would it be possible to add an option (like --list) to display a list?

darrigan There is no way to list what it will delete using the command, but you can limit the table it's deleting from with -t flag.

It removes anything from the data where deleted = 1. This means Records you are deleted, fields, sets, etc.
You could go and query your database to find out exactly what is marked as deleted.

Most institutions generally wouldn't use this function in a production system, or would limit to certain tables like sets.

monica Thank you Monica. I ran this command on my production system (after a dump of my database of course), and compared it with delete=1. Perfect!
