Share items from Pawtucket

Hey I am running into problems with sharing items via the share function in Pawtucket. I have checked the access role settings in Providence and made sure that users can share via email.

I can only make the share function work when using the email address that is assigned in the CA_ADMIN_EMAIL in the pawtucket setup.php as the sender. I need to be able to have users send with their email.

Any thoughts?

Your server can't send email pretending to be from someone else, it goes against security. What version are you using?

The most up to date system for Providence and Pawtucket (version 1.7) on Linux. We installed just 6 months ago.
