Creating Custom User Interfaces

Hello,I've been trying to create custom user interfaces for our students to catalogue old physical records into. As they only need access to a few fields it'll be a fair bit less confusing for them and save time as well. I created a basic test user interface with the type set to 'objects'. How do I assign it to a user or user group? I can't seem to find anything under the user interface or under access control. I might be missing something or not have access. Would modifying the metadata available to the group under Manage>Access control>Access Roles produce the same or similar result if for whatever reason I can't assign the user interface to a group?Thank you.

Hi, It looks like your User Interface for User Interfaces lacked the bundles for User Access and Group Access for some reason. I went ahead and added these to your configuration. I did so on the "UI Editor" itself. So now when you go to the Student Cataloging UI you will see the new fields where you can assign access to this UI.

Hello Jonathan,Thank you for adding that. I'm gone into my student_cataloguing interface and added the group Cataloguers as well as assigning direct read access to my student as well as a test profile with the same role and group as my student after trying with just the group access set. The interface is set to only display six fields when cataloguing. When I go in with my test interface I still see the entire set of fields. I'm at a bit of a loss.

What is set for these users under Manage > My preferences > Editing > User interfaces for objects?
