Description of library items based on MARC standard

Hello everyoneI'm studying the use of CollectiveAccess to describe architectural archive items and about 50'000 library books and journals, with the idea to make a common online public access catalogue. In terms of standards, I need to describe my library items with MARC (Unimarc, Marc21 or MarcXML), as it must be the export format to integrate my datas in the belgian collective catalogue UNICAT (unicat.be) and I would prefer to avoid multiple conversion steps.For now, there are installation profiles based on Dublin Core and and a MARC profile is indicated as "in developpement" on the Wiki. My questions are .--> How advanced is this MARC profile development ?--> Did anyone already created a MARC description scheme ?Thanks !!Carole

I would be very interested to know how I can describe my library items (books and journals) in CollectiveAccess.
Could you let me know if you have already worked on this or have any documentation about it?
