QuickSearch on creation/Modification date isn't working anymore

Hello ! I noticed a bug since Providence 1.6.3 (and in 1.7) : the quicksearch using "created:"09/11/2016"" doesn't work anymore. I tried this on my installation and on the demo site and none of them is working.This search is still working using the advanced form. Any ideas ? Or should i fill a Jira ticket for this ? Thanks ! It could be the same underlying issue already reported in http://clangers.collectiveaccess.org/jira/browse/PROV-1894 or be very related at least. Maybe you could corroborate/augment/vote the issue (and the other access-point and boolean-search tickets)...
